Overview
OpenOats is an open-source AI meeting assistant that provides real-time transcription and intelligently surfaces relevant information from your personal notes during calls. It runs dual-speaker transcription locally on your Mac and searches through your knowledge base of Markdown and text files to suggest contextual talking points. Hidden from screen-sharing by default so you can stay prepared without appearing distracted. Supports multiple LLM providers including OpenRouter cloud models and local Ollama for fully offline operation. API keys are stored securely in macOS Keychain.
