Migas is a privacy-first meeting copilot for macOS that provides real-time transcription with live speaker identification and an AI assistant you can chat with during your calls. Unlike traditional meeting tools, no bot joins your call and no calendar access is needed — Migas captures audio locally on your Mac, making it invisible to everyone else on the call. The app features automatic speaker identification that works from the first meeting with no setup or training required, letting you stay present in conversations while everything is captured in a quiet companion window. You can ask the AI assistant questions about your meeting while it's happening, with answers grounded in the live transcript. Transcription, speaker identification, and all audio processing happen entirely on your Mac, with only transcript text sent to the cloud when you explicitly request AI summaries. Migas also works offline for core transcription features. Currently supports English meetings and requires Apple Silicon.
