Xum
Run parallel coding agents, each in its own isolated workspace
Overview
Xum (formerly Mux) is an open-source desktop app from Coder for isolated, parallel agentic development. Each agent works in its own workspace, running locally, in a Git worktree or over SSH, with a central view of how each workspace's Git branch has diverged. Xum is provider-agnostic: use models from Anthropic, OpenAI, xAI and others, local models through Ollama, or OpenRouter. It has keybinds for managing many agents, a Plan and Exec mode, vim-style input, rich markdown output with Mermaid diagrams and LaTeX, and a VS Code extension for jumping into workspaces.
