Overview
Trident is a multi-model AI workspace for macOS that puts Anthropic Claude, OpenAI, and Google Gemini in two chat panels working on the same project at once. Bounce a draft between models, let both edit the same shared documents with instant sync, and embed a project once so the agent and the ⌘K command palette can search every document by meaning instead of keyword. Generated images from GPT Image and Nano Banana land in a gallery alongside their prompts and conversation, and reasoning effort can be dialed per turn. It's free to download and you bring your own API keys — everything stays local with an encrypted keystore and no Trident server in the loop.
