Son of Simon is an open-source LLM-powered personal assistant for macOS that integrates directly with native Apple applications via AppleScript — no OAuth setup or password storage needed. It connects to Mail, Calendar, Reminders, Notes, and Safari for seamless automation, along with Telegram, WhatsApp, and Microsoft Teams for messaging. Powered by your choice of Anthropic, OpenAI, or OpenRouter (100+ models), it features Spotlight file search, local file operations, web tools, a persistent memory system, and scheduled task automation via heartbeat. All authentication is handled through macOS Keychain, keeping data on-device.
