Research

Research by UNMS is a desktop app designed to help you read, comprehend, and organize academic papers and research documents using AI assistance. Import and index PDFs, web pages, and presentations, annotate and take notes within the app, and ask questions about your content. The AI helps with summarizing, surfacing related entries, and explaining complex concepts. Built with Tauri for native performance, it works offline with optional cloud features. Used by researchers in academia, biotech, aerospace, AI, and even lawyers and product teams for reading complex documentation.
