Promptly is a native macOS app that brings AI-powered text editing to any app on the Mac. Highlight text anywhere and rewrite, summarize, or enhance it via a keyboard shortcut or voice command, without leaving the current app. Custom action templates turn recurring tasks — email formatting, code review, translation, meeting notes — into one-click prompts, and stored context snippets can be pulled into any request with @ mentions. Vision mode captures the screen and analyzes images or screenshots directly. Promptly talks to ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or a local Ollama model using your own API keys, sending requests straight from your Mac to the provider with nothing routed through Promptly's servers.
