Overview

PastePaw is a native SwiftUI clipboard manager for macOS that keeps everything you copy — text, images, and files — in a searchable local history, then adds AI on top of it. Right-click any clip to summarize, translate, explain code, or fix grammar, and build unlimited custom actions with your own prompts and SF Symbol icons. AI runs through DeepSeek or any OpenAI-compatible endpoint using your own API key, so there is no subscription tax on the model. A local MCP server exposes your clipboard history to AI agents as working memory, with per-tool control over what can be read, written, or deleted. Smart Collections file clips automatically by rule; Secure Collections encrypt sensitive ones behind Touch ID and re-lock when you step away. Press Space on any clip for tools matched to its type: OCR and subject lifting on images, QR and barcode scanning, JSON/YAML/XML formatting, JWT and Base64 decoding, timestamp and number-base conversion. Everything lives in a local SQLite database — no cloud sync, no tracking, and password manager content is ignored automatically. Ships with 29 themes across horizontal card and vertical column layouts.
