Orca

The worktree IDE with Ghostty terminal and AI coding agents

Free Coding Desktop Open Source

Overview

Orca is an open-source Agent IDE designed to orchestrate multiple AI coding agents in parallel using isolated Git worktrees. Run Claude Code, Codex, and OpenCode simultaneously on separate branches without stepping on each other, with real-time status tracking and notifications as each agent works. A built-in Ghostty terminal pane splits infinitely — horizontal, vertical, and nested — for agents, tests, servers, and logs at the same time. The IDE includes a markdown editor with previews, PDF and image viewing, fast file search, and full source-control workflows: diff review, PR management, and CI/conflict triage. Free, open source under MIT. Available for macOS, Windows, and Linux.

Pricing: Free (open source, MIT)

Architecture: Apple Silicon, Intel
