Overview
OpenMausBot is an open-source, local-first desktop app that turns a familiar chat sidebar into a team of AI agents. Every bot in the list is a real agent backed by a CLI you already have installed — Claude Code, Codex, or Grok — and you can switch the model per bot, or mid-conversation. Each bot can drive its own cloud Linux desktop or your Mac directly, with a live preview and approval gates before it runs commands or edits files. Bots connect to hundreds of apps like Gmail, Slack, and GitHub through Composio, speak with ElevenLabs voices, take voice input, and run on calendar-based routines. Transcripts, keys, and credentials stay in ~/.openmausbot on your machine. Positioned as an open alternative to xAI's Grok Bot.
