Overview

Maestri is a native macOS terminal app built around an infinite canvas where you can run and monitor multiple AI coding agents simultaneously. Instead of switching between terminal windows, you see all your agents — Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode, or plain shell — laid out spatially on a single zoomable surface. Agents can prompt each other directly through agent-to-agent connections, and the built-in Ombro assistant uses Apple Foundation Models on-device to monitor your agents and provide summaries without any cloud processing. The canvas supports hand-drawn sketching for architecture diagrams, sticky notes that agents can write to, and tmux-style workspace navigation. Integrates directly with VS Code, Zed, and Xcode. Built entirely in Swift and SwiftUI with a Metal-accelerated canvas and custom terminal emulator, Maestri requires no account, collects zero telemetry, and stores all data locally as JSON configs and Markdown notes.
