LoopMaker is a native macOS app that generates music entirely on your Mac using Meta's MusicGen AI model running on Apple's MLX framework with Metal GPU acceleration. Describe what you want in a text prompt and LoopMaker creates instrumentals or vocals with lyrics in multiple languages — all locally with no internet required after the initial model download. Features three creation modes: Generate for original music from text prompts with structured lyrics, Cover for transforming existing audio with new instrumentation or vocals, and Extend for seamlessly adding length to any track. Offers fine-grained control over BPM (30-300), musical key, time signature, and quality modes from draft to highest fidelity. Includes 6 genre presets (Lo-Fi, Cinematic, Ambient, Electronic, Hip-Hop, Jazz), a built-in library with full metadata, seed locking for reproducible results, batch variations, and export to WAV or M4A.
