Intent by Augment is a macOS app for spec-driven development. Write living specifications that auto-update as AI agents complete work. A coordinator agent breaks specs into tasks and delegates to specialist agents — investigators, implementors, verifiers, debuggers, and code reviewers — all working in parallel. Supports multiple models including Opus, Sonnet, GPT 5.2, and Haiku, plus Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, and OpenCode. Includes an integrated Chrome browser for local previews, built-in git management, resumable sessions with auto-commit, and Augment's Context Engine for enhanced code understanding. Free during public beta.
