Overview
Hex is a free, open-source macOS dictation app. Hold a global hotkey to record, then release it to transcribe and paste your words into the active app. You can also double-tap the hotkey to lock recording for longer dictation. Hex supports Parakeet TDT v3 through FluidAudio and WhisperKit for on-device transcription.
