Herdr
The runtime your coding agents live on
Overview
Herdr is an open-source terminal tool for running many AI coding agents side by side. It detects agent CLIs such as Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, OpenCode and Grok, and shows whether each one is working, blocked or idle. Herdr runs as a background server rather than an app you keep open, so agents keep working after you disconnect and you can reattach later, including from other machines over SSH. A CLI and socket API let agents split panes, start each other and prompt each other. It ships as a single binary for macOS, Linux and Windows.
Pricing: Free (open source, Apache 2.0)
