Codex CLI is OpenAI's coding agent that runs locally from your terminal. Built in Rust for speed and efficiency, it can read, change, and run code on your machine with full repository navigation. Features a full-screen terminal UI for conversational workflows, image support for wireframes and diagrams, progress tracking with to-do lists, and session persistence to pick up where you left off. Included with ChatGPT Plus, Pro, Business, Edu, and Enterprise plans.
