Overview

Atat (branded @@) is a native Swift app that puts a coding agent behind two keystrokes in every text field on your Mac. Type @@ in a native app, a browser, or a Google Doc and it quietly attaches the display you are looking at, runs the CLI agent you already have, and drops the answer back into the line you left off — without ever stealing focus. Bring your own agent: Claude Code, Codex, Grok, Cursor, Pi, Hermes, OpenCode, or any other CLI added as a custom provider, running under your own accounts and keys. Select text in any app and a bar offers rewrite, translate, or explain, replacing the text right there. In Finder, @@ makes the window the working directory and brings the selected files along. It also replaces the macOS screenshot tools with area, window, scrolling, and recording capture that goes straight to the agent, plus a searchable clipboard history on ⌘⇧V. Prompts and history stay on your Mac; the app is under 20 MB with no Electron.

Pricing: Free (bring your own agent CLI and account)

Minimum macOS: 26.0 (Tahoe)

Architecture: Apple Silicon, Intel
