Overview
Apollo is a free AI chat app by Liquid AI that brings private, on-device language models to your Mac. Powered by LEAP, Liquid's optimized inference engine, Apollo runs small but capable LLMs locally without sending data to the cloud. It also connects to nearly every cloud model via OpenRouter, including Meta Llama and ChatGPT-4, and supports custom backends like LM Studio and Ollama. With built-in text-to-speech, speech-to-text, web search with RAG, and per-chat model settings, Apollo is a versatile multi-provider AI client that puts privacy first.
